Summary:

Out of 512 teams W.C.I.P. comes in 8th place. Competing in intense matches against sponsored teams such as "Team-VBI". View match up here Defeating them put us as the winners of "Bracket 5". Click here to see Bracket Winners We then got to "Stage 2" of the tournament and went up against Team "The Gods". Stage 2 Bracket. One of the best games played in CoD2. A Fifteen minute match no kill limit. At the end, it was tied, a tie breaker round had to be played. We played again and sharpshoota had the first kill, but at the end of the round it was tied again. We would have played another round but the rules state that whoever gets the first kill wins. So we moved on to the next match where we lost to Team "Fear Type-Z".

Offline Richmond, Virginia / DOA4 Tournament

Summary:

A Tournament with a prize of $400 located at a Days Inn, in Richmond was heating up with good matches. Champl00 played through a good deal of these games, defeating some very good competitors. When fighting for the 4th place spot champl00 won the match but had to play again because one of the tournaments instructors "TomBrady" was a sore loser after losing to Champl00 for a rule that wasn't stated in any rule book (Stage had to be Random). It was a big joke but Champl00 being a good sport went ahead and played him again, after he played the entire other match. But sadly lost and ended in getting 5th place.

Call of duty 3 First to Play Tournament

Summary:

This Tournament took place before Call of Duty 3 was released. In order to enter the Tournament you would have to answer WWII questions, once you did and got them correct you would be entered. It was a Deathmatch tournament, the Grand Prize of the Tournament was to Receive a Free trip to California to play Call of Duty 3, as well as getting a free t-shirt, hat, ipod and a copy of Call of Duty 3. MechaMunky DESTROYED the competition, defeating players 25 to 12 there was clearly no one else in his league. MechaMunky took home the Gold and received his just rewards.


Gears of War "GameOn" 2v2 Lan Tournament


Players: Champl00, Ghost





Summary:

This tournament took place in Virginia Beach, VA. at a local "GameOn" video game retail store. the tournament was the best of 3 maps and up to 3 rounds on each map. The 1st place winners received a percentage of the "purse", there was a total number of 11 teams. Champl00 and Ghost lost the first match against the other best team in the tournament. We had to fight our way through the losers bracket; eventually getting into the finals of the tournament. We had to face the same team that beat us, they were undefeated. We won the first match , so it made it even; we had to beat them again in order to win the tournament. It was tied 1-1, the final map was fuel depot. The opposing team was beating us 2-0 rounds, we fought them back with a rushing tactic to come back and win 3-2 and won the tournament.
